Saggy facial skin is one of the aging signs that makes us look old and tired, and one of the

most frequent treatment requests.

 

Non-surgical techniques are gaining popularity as people often prefer to avoid the risks and downtime associated with surgical interventions. In some cases, surgery will remain the best solution but in many cases, surgery can be avoided or postponed, using effective technologies to tighten and lift the skin.

 

 

We use the Genius, which is a ‘cutting edge’ technology, newest generation microneedling radiofrequency device, to lift the skin of the face and neck without surgery. It is a precision device using very thin needles to precisely deliver energy (heat) in the selected dermal layer, to effectively stimulate collagen synthesis and densify the dermis again. 

As Rome wasn’t built in a day, the rebuilding of skin density also takes time to be substantial enough to tighten and lift. The treatment is minimally invasive and needs pain management with numbing cream or topical anaesthetic injections. After the treatment the skin is red and swollen but the downtime is minimal and usually limited to 2 days (a weekend).
