Sclerotherapy is the injection of a chemical in the vein to make it stick together, it will then be resorbed by the body and disappear.

After the injections you need to wear compression stockings for 2 days and it is very important to avoid sun exposure for 4 to 8 weeks, to avoid pigmentation of the veins.

​

 This is why we don't perform this treatment during summer months..
