Vascular lasers DermaV, XEO & CLARITY II

Vascular laser treatments selectively target blood vessels in the skin, without affecting the surrounding skin.

The main indications are:

  • broken capillaries or telangiectasia

  • diffuse redness of the face

  • rosacea

  • spider angioma, cherry angioma

  • wine stains

  • blue angioma on the lip

  • varicose veins legs

Treatment usually lasts between 15 to 30 minutes (or longer, depending on the indication) and is not painful. Some discomfort can be experienced (burning sensation). To make the procedure as comfortable as possible, we use cold air and a cooling gel during the procedure to cool the skin.

After the treatment, the skin may be red and slightly swollen, but there is little or no recovery time. Rarely, bruises can occur, but they disappear within a few days and can be camouflaged. In the treatment of varicose veins, a dark discoloration of the treated veins may persist for several weeks.

Until at least 4 weeks after a vascular laser treatment it is required to absolutely avoid the sun, in the treatment of varicose veins this may even be necessary for 2-3 months, therefore such laser treatments

are only be performed in winter.

In general, multiple sessions are required to achieve the best results, on average 2 to 4 sessions, with an interval of several weeks. Follow-up sessions (annually or every two years) may be necessary to maintain the results.
